somewhere by the sea

I'm Portuguese, from the seaside town of Setúbal, born in '97, a Capricorn, and an INTJ-T. My very first blog was letthebirdfly.blogspot.com, where I shared my drawings. Since I can remember (records show since 2001 when I was 4 years old), I've always loved creating: drawing, then writing, which began on quiet afternoons at cafés with my aunt and grandmother, where I'd craft little fantasy stories to escape into other worlds.

Later on, I discovered the online world through games and online gaming communities: how fansites worked, how content got made, how websites got built, how digital publishing actually ran behind the scenes. That curiosity became a career. By day, I work as a Digital Executive, which in practice means a mix of web producer, CMS publisher, content manager and SEO optimizer, with a sprinkle of AI automation.

I love learning, optimizing websites, and the little workflows of daily life. And a nice cup of hot chocolate. Blue and green are my favorite colors, simplicity is my favorite design, and life's small moments are what fuel my imagination.

Fun facts: I participated in a promotional video narrated by John Bradley from GOT, I learned to ride a bike in my 20s, and I used to collect erasers.

Hobbies

I'm a hobbyist by nature. I paint and sew, I read, I keep my plants alive (mostly), I take photos, and lately I've fallen for vibe coding, building small things just to see if I can. Writing has been the constant thread through all of it, from those café fantasy stories to whatever ends up in my blog today.

Gaming is where a lot of my curiosity started, in the online world especially. I grew up on "My Amazing Human Body" while dreaming of becoming a doctor, "Hugo", and "Tomb Raider", and I practically lived in The Sims, Polly Pocket games and Club Penguin. That early love never really left. One of my dreams is to publish a game of my own on CrazyGames, and I'm still saving for a Nintendo Switch.
